Произведение растворимости (ПР) вещества `"Kt"_m"An"_n`, распадающегося на ионы по уравнению
`"Kt"_m"An"_n ⇄ m"Kt" + n"An"`
равно ПР = `a_"Kt"^m a_"An"^n`, где `a_"Kt"` – активность катиона Kt, `a_"An"` – активность аниона An. Показателем произведения растворимости pПР называют десятичный логарифм произведения растворимости, взятый с обратным знаком. При вычислении растворимости той или иной малорастворимой соли в воде или растворе других солей по величине произведения растворимости следует учитывать:
